"YOUTH ANTI-GUN & KNIFE CRIME PROGRAMME"
We pride ourselves on the successes we have witnessed since the Positioning Youth To Prosper (PYP) Project was first created and implemented by our CEO Patsy Nelson, in 2013 with the support of Bishop Neville Fletcher, Pastor Michael Bailey, Pastor Ruth & Youth Leader Leon Green, of the Church of God of Prophecy, Birmingham. From it's inception, the PYP Project has always focused its attention on 'Education, Employment Training & Entrepreneurship' and to date, that focus remains.
As a result, much to the surprise of both parents and professionals, we have seen some real positive behaviour & attitude changes in some of the most challenging cases and it's all down to the; God-given vision, commitment of young people, support of parents, dedication of partners and passion of the Positioning Youth To Prosper (PYP) team.

who is the pyp project aimed at and why?
Our project is aimed specifically at Generation Z with Millennial's incorporated in the programme as peer influencers, for greater impact. Generation Z (or iGen, Centennials) is anyone born between 1997 and 2012/15. They are currently aged between 6 and 24 years old. Millennial's (or Gen Y's) are those born between 1981 and 1994/6. They are currently aged between 25 and 40 years old. (1)

We have chosen to aim our services at Generation Z because according to statistics, in the year 2019, they became the largest generation, constituting 32 percent of the global population. That equates to 2.47 billion of the 7.7 billion people living on Earth. (2) Generation Z are regarded as being the most technologically intelligent generation of all time, so they need the right guidance to help shape them into the world leaders they are destined to be.

We also incorporate sports activities and creative arts; i.e. music, dance and drama as well as collaborate with external agencies from the public, private & voluntary sectors to ensure that we provide young people with a project that not only changes mindset & behaviour but also plants positive seeds that will produce 'good fruits' in the future years to come.
The PYP Project encompasses our core theme of Education, Employment, Training & Entrepreneurship and everything is then wrapped around it to enable us to deliver an innovative, bespoke youth-centred programme. We do this by creating a safe, fun, friendly, caring environment, to teach young people through theoretical & experiential learning. The programme consists of many elements that help to develop their social, physical, intellectual, cultural, emotional and spiritual being.
Our PYP Project includes key areas such as:
-
how to manage emotions;
-
how to build positive relationships;
-
how to make & manage money;
-
how to be a positive team player
-
how to plan & develop a career;
-
how to build a profitable business;
-
how to develop creative skills;
-
how to be a law-abiding citizen;
-
how to maintain a healthy lifestyle;
-
how to stay safe at home & on the streets;
-
how to avoid imprisonment, serious injury or loss of life.
